After having our gorgeous son I decided to open up a beautiful intimate Salon at the back of 'I do Flowers.' As the salon grow, I realised I needed a larger space and Allure popped up for sale.
Since stepping into Allure hair boutique my vision has been simple: To offer each guest a personalised experience where you’re treated with the utmost care and attention. This is more than just a salon; it’s a retreat—a space where you can unwind from the pressures of the outside world reconnect, and simply be.
At Allure, I take a one-on-one approach to every appointment, guiding you through your hair journey from start to finish. This isn’t a fast-paced, hustle-and-bustle atmosphere; it’s a place where you can relax, recharge, and leave feeling not only beautiful, but also truly refreshed.
Hi, I’m Jemma and I would love to share a bit about my journey with you. I'm originally from Cairns, I began my career with a school-based apprenticeship at Reds Hair and Spa, and from there, my passion for hairdressing took me on an incredible adventure.
After completing my apprenticeship, I moved to Melbourne to be with my now-husband Tim and further develop my skills. I spent 10 amazing years in Melbourne, working at some of the most prestigious events, including Sydney and Melbourne Fashion Weeks, and editorial shoots.
After a decade of growth, we decided to return to Cairns, to not only start our family but also to continue pursuing our careers and dreams. Coming home has been such a fulfilling chapter, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to bring my expertise and love for hairdressing back to this beautiful place.
