We are a Wella Professional salon in Cairns, passionate about consistently educating ourselves so that we can provide you with the latest styles, ranging from edgy, shorter hair to long, flowing balayages.
You being able to achieve your style and look after your leave the salon is just as important to us as the amazing hair we can create for you when you are in the chair - so we will always help educate you and provide the right skills and take home care that is suited to your own individual style.
Meet the team
After having my son Henry I decided to open up a beautiful intimate Salon at the back of 'I do Flowers.' As this has grown I realised I needed a bigger space and Allure popped up for sale and I met the beautiful Bec and Jess.
It has been an absolute pleasure being welcomed into this amazing salon.
My name’s Jemma, I’m from Cairns and started a school based apprenticeship at Reds hair and spa.
After finishing my apprenticeship I moved to Melbourne to be with my now Husband Tim and further my hairdressing skills and lived there for 10 years.
In this time I got to work at numerous Sydney and Melbourne Fashion weeks and editorial shoots.
We decided to move back up to Cairns to start a family and further our careers.

Hi Everyone, my name is Jessica.
I’m a senior stylist here at Allure with over 20 years experience in the hair industry.
While loving all aspects of hairdressing I can definitely say I specialise in blondes, balayage, long hair, blow waves and men’s cutting. I really enjoy creating natural, flowing colours and styles.
Being able to make someone look and feel beautiful is extremely rewarding for me.
When I’m not at work I’m either in the sun, spending time with my friends, planning a getaway or chilling with my French bulldog, Romeo.
